Notion AI vs ChatGPT

One lives inside your team's docs, the other is a general assistant. What each costs, what its agents can do, and when to use which.

The longer answer. They solve different problems. Notion AI is best when your team's documents, wikis and projects already live in Notion: on the Business plan ($20 a member) it can search them, take meeting notes and run Custom Agents on a schedule12. ChatGPT is the better general assistant: it has a free plan, and Plus ($20) adds ChatGPT Work for finished documents, decks and spreadsheets346. Many teams end up using both.
